I really like this moment from The Aviator because of the little hand gesture that Leo makes. Instead of hitting the gesture on a word, he does it before the line and it really adds some nice texture to the shot

Make your blinks count
I uploaded this video to show a great example of using a blink. Often people just throw in blinks as filler, but you should really think about how the dialog is being delivered and place them accordingly. In the second shot Colin Farrel doesn't blink at all until the end of his dialog where he has a single blink, this really helps sell the confusion he is feeling. Keep in mind that blinks can add lots to a shot and placing them in the right spot is important.
